     Ezekiel Edmonds was born on 27 January 1785, son of Elimelech Edmonds and Ann Bennett.

In 1805 an E. Edmonds was listed as a "clothier" in the Directory for Bradford-on-Avon in Wiltshire, England.1

In 1822 Yerbury, Tugwell, Edmonds & Co. were clothiers on Druces Hill, in Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, England.2

In 1822 Ezekiel was an agent for Atlas Fire Insurance Office. in Druces Hill, Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, England.2,3

On 3 December 1825 he was awarded Patent No. 5303 "For certain Improvements for scribbling and carding wool and other fibres."4

On 22 March 1826 a notice appeared in "The London Gazette" as follows:
Notice is hereby given that the Partnenship lately subsisting between John Yerbury, Mawbey Tugwell (deceased), Elimelech Edmonds, (deceased), and Ezekiel Edmonds, of Bradford, in the County of Wilts, Clothiers, expired on the 31st day of December last by the effluxion of time.-
Witness our hands the 22d day of March 1826.

In 1830 he was still the Atlas Fire Insurance agent in Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, England.3

In 1830 woollen cloth manufacturers Yerbury, Edmonds & Edmonds were operating on Church Street, Bradford-on-Avon. This partnership was between Frank Yerbury and brothers John and Ezekiel Edmonds.3

A settlement for the marriage Ezekiel Edmonds and Mary Hart was made in 1833 ref. No. 888/2 - Title "Settlement on the Marriage of Ezekiel Edmonds and Mary Hart, both of Bradford-on-Avon"; refers to a capital investment; with appoinment of new trustees under the above settlement, 1851. Parties; Edmonds, Hart, Salter, Overbury.

On 27 February 1833, Ezekiel, aged 48, married Mary Hart, in Holy Trinity Church in Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, England.6

Ezekiel, age 56, appeared on the census of 6 June 1841 in Church Yard, Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, England, age 52, occupation, Clothier. Also in the house were Mary, his wife, 34; children Frederick, 7; Mary, 5; Anne 13 mths, and visitor Mary Hooper,19 (she married his nephew, Samuel Edmonds, about six months later, in early 1842). There were also three servants; Fanny Smith 22, Elizabeth Fennell 24 and Mary Davis 34.7

In 1842, he was living in Abbey House, Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, England.8

It appears that the Edmonds' family business was dissolved, as a notice appeared in Perry's Bankrupt Gazette on 25 December 1847 of the dissolution of the partnership between Ezekiel Edmonds, John Edmonds and Ezekiel Edmonds, junior, "woolen manufacturers, Bradford, 1st January last".9

In 1848, Ezekiel was living in Frankley, Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, England.10

Ezekiel, age 66, appeared on the census of 30 March 1851 in Berryfield House, Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, England, as Head, age 59, retired cloth manufacturer.

     Alexander Clair North was born on 5 September 1886 in North Park, Hundred of Ward, South Australia, son of Hero Clair North and Rosina Ann Boylan.1

In 1910 Alexander won the Sheffield Handicap race at the St Patrick Day Sports, Colton, South Australia.2

On 27 March 1913 he won the Standing High Jump (4 ft. 10 in.) & the Hop, Step & Jump (41 ft. 9 in.) in St Patrick Day Sports, Colton, South Australia.2

On 24 May 1913, Alexander, aged 26, married Agatha Bridget Herreen, aged 26, daughter of James Edward Herreen and Ellen Cecelia Meehan, in residence of Peter McDonald in Maryvale, South Australia.

10 August 1915 Alexander leased, from the State Government, Section 11 Hundred of Palabie in South Australia.3

23 July 1917 he added to his holdings when he took on the lease of Section 13, Hundred of Palabie.3

In 1919 Mr & Mrs Alex North played violin and piano at some dances in the Kyancutta Hall.

In 1939, Alexander and Agatha Bridget Herreen were living at Colton, South Australia.
