     Thomas Collin North was born on 22 August 1915 in Fullarton, South Australia, son of Frank Edward Porter and Olive Lydia North.2

On 28 December 1937, Thomas, aged 22, married Marjorie Mary Jemima Appelby, aged 25, daughter of William John Appelby and Ellen May Victory, in St Anacletus Church in Peterborough, South Australia.3

He died on Thursday, 15 May 1986, aged 70 years, 8 months and 23 days, in Largs North, South Australia.4

Thomas was buried on 17 May 1986 in the Cheltenham Cemetery, Cheltenham, South Australia, in the same plot as his wife, in the Lawn section, drive D, row 71, plot 1409N.4
