     John Martin Case was born in 1851, son of Emanuel Case and Jane Starr.

On 2 September 1872 he purchased land under the South Australian scheme known as the "Strangeways Act", where settlers could purchase land on credit, with 20% deposit (later 10%) and the balance payable at the end of 4 years.

The first lot he bought was Section 204 Hundred of Barunga, County Daly, an total area of 226 acres, cost £226 ($452). On 17 Apr 1874 he purchased a further 7 acres, Section 203 in the same Hundred, at a cost of £7 ($14).

On 16 Apr 1879 he bought Section 99 Hundred Eurelia, County Dalhousie, an area of 523 acres for which he paid £523. On 17 May 1881 he acquired a further 477 acres being, Section 100S in the same hundred. He paid £1,120/19/- ($2,241.90)for this last piece of land.1

On 4 February 1875, John, married Mary Agnes Jordan, daughter of John Jordan, in St Rose of Lima Church in Kapunda, South Australia.2

He died in 1915, aged 64 years, in Narrandera, New South Wales, Australia.3

     Esther Mary Case was born on 6 September 1846 in Gawler Area, South Australia, daughter of Emanuel Case and Jane Starr.1

On 24 October 1875, Esther, aged 29, married Thomas William Shell, aged 25, son of William Shell and Jane Earle, in St Patrick's Church in Caltowie, South Australia. Witnesses were the bride's siblings, Francis M. Case and Eliza Case.2

She died on Friday, 22 October 1926, aged 80 years, 1 month and 16 days, in the Parkside Mental Hospital, Parkside, South Australia, of senile decay. Prior to her hospitalisation she was living in Morchard.3

On 16 November 1867, Catherine, aged 18, married John Mahoney, son of Patrick Mahoney, in St Peter & Paul Church in Gawler, South Australia.2

Catherine was widowed when her husband, John, died at 31 in 1875.

On 1 December 1876, Catherine, aged 27, married William Andrew McEvoy, aged 29, son of Denis McEvoy and Ann Jane Carson, in Catholic Church in Kadina, South Australia.3

She died on Wednesday, 6 June 1934, aged 85 years and 1 month, in Clare, South Australia, from carcinoma of the stomach compounded by years of chronic myocarditis.4

Catherine was buried on 8 June 1934 in the Sevenhill Cemetery, Sevenhill, South Australia.1

     Francis Michael Case was born in 1852 in Gawler Area, South Australia, son of Emanuel Case and Jane Starr.

He was baptized on 15 August 1852 in Gawler Area, South Australia.1

In 1876Francis was living in 1876 on Section 53, Hundred of Coomooroo, South Australia,

"The Case family came to the area in 1876, when brothers Frank and Isaac selected adjoining sections 52 and 53, Hundred of Coomooroo. They also married sisters named Silverthorne.
Frank, whose family consisted of one daughter, Irene, farmed until his death in 1915 (sic), using a team of bullocks until 1908.
Isaac, who had a family of seven sons and one daughter, farmed in the early days, but became a grazier for a number of years, until 1908 when he purchased two teams of bullocks and fallowed 200 acres, but sold the property and moved to Riverton before sowing the crop. The only member of the family still living is Clarrie Case of Jamestown."

On 30 May 1876 he purchased land under the South Australian scheme known as the "Strangeways Act", where settlers could purchase land on credit, with 20% deposit and the balance payable at the end of 4 years.

He bought Section 53 Hundred of Coomooroo, County Dalhousie, an total area of 423 acres, cost £423 ($846).2

On 10 February 1880, Francis, aged 27, married Mary Ellen Silverthorne, aged 20, daughter of Seth Silverthorne and Ellen Casey, in St James Church in Jamestown, South Australia. By Reverend Father Pallhauber.3

He died on Friday, 21 September 1917, aged 65 years, 1 month and 6 days, in Parkside Mental Hospital, Eastwood, South Australia, after 4 weeks of melancholic exhaustion following 12 months of senile decay. Prior to becoming ill he had lived at Orroroo.4

He bought Section 52 Hundred of Coomooroo, County Dalhousie, an total area of 328 acres, cost £328 ($656.)2

On 21 August 1877, Eliza, aged 19, married Joseph Michael McEvoy, aged 27, son of Denis McEvoy and Ann Jane Carson, in St Martin's Church in Redhill, South Australia.1

She died on Tuesday, 3 June 1919, aged 61 years, 8 months and 17 days, in Streaky Bay, South Australia, of blood poisoning related to diabetes. Prior to her death she lived at Cungena, South Australia.2

Eliza was buried on 4 June 1919 in the Streaky Bay Cemetery, Streaky Bay, South Australia, by Reverend Father Prendergast.3

     Peter James Case was born on 2 December 1859 in South Australia, son of Emanuel Case and Jane Starr.

He a farmer.1

On 11 June 1888, Peter, aged 28, married Margaret Louisa Cunningham, aged 20, daughter of Patrick Cunningham and Ellen Haggerty, in St Dominic Church in Willochra, South Australia. Father Bernard Nevin was the officiating priest and the witnesses were Arthur Phillip Case and Mary Theresa Case.2 When his father died on 1 August 1898 in Coonatto, South Australia, he was 38.1

He died on Tuesday, 24 August 1943, aged 83 years, 8 months and 22 days, in the Orroroo Hospital, Orroroo, South Australia, of broncho-pneumonia.1

Peter was buried on 26 August 1943 in the Hammond Cemetery, Hammond, South Australia.
