     Victor August Adolfsson was born on 26 September 1915 in Glanville, South Australia, son of August Michael Adolfsson and Ellen Agnes Tobin.¹

Victor began military service on 8 August 1940 in North Adelaide, South Australia, when he enlisted in the Australian Army. His service number was S49954. When he was discharged he was a private with 18 L H M G Rgmt.²

He died on Monday, 7 May 2007, aged 91 years, 7 months and 11 days, in Goolwa, South Australia,³ and he was cremated at Centennial Park Cemetery, Pasadena, South Australia, on 10 May 2007.³

Alfred began military service on 25 May 1940 in Wayville, South Australia, when he enlisted in the Australian Army. His Service Number was SX3695. When he was discharged, on 15 August 1943, he was a Signalman with HQ Sigs First Aust Army.²

He died on Sunday, 17 August 1947, aged 27 years, 11 months and 3 days, in Springbank, South Australia.³

Alfred was buried in the Dudley Park Cemetery, Dudley Park, South Australia.⁴
