     Frederick Roy March was born on 11 January 1915 in Mallala, South Australia.¹

Frederick began military service on 20 February 1940 in Laverton, Victoria, Australia, when he enlisted in the Royal Australian Air Force. His service number was 9200. He was discharged on 6 August 1945, with the rank of sergeant at 6 Service Flying Training School.²

On 13 June 1940, the engagement of Frederick, aged 25, to Mavis Agnes Adolfsson, aged 22, daughter of August Michael Adolfsson and Ellen Agnes Tobin, both of Prospect, was announced in "The Advertiser", in Adelaide, South Australia.³

On 4 June 1941, Frederick, aged 26, married Mavis Agnes Adolfsson, aged 23, daughter of August Michael Adolfsson and Ellen Agnes Tobin, in Prospect North Methodist Church in Prospect, South Australia.³

He died on Friday, 6 January 1989, aged 73 years, 11 months and 26 days, in Prospect, South Australia,⁴ and he was cremated at Enfield Memorial Park, Clearview, South Australia, on 9 January 1989.⁴
