     Arnold Stephen Faggotter was born on 5 July 1904 in Jamestown, South Australia, son of Stephen Herbert Faggotter and Charlotte Annie Talbot.¹

On 1 June 1935, Arnold, aged 30, married Beryl May Davey, aged 23, in Methodist Church in Semaphore, South Australia.²

He died on Tuesday, 11 January 1977, aged 72 years, 6 months and 6 days, in Pennington, South Australia.³

Arnold was buried on 14 January 1977 in the Cheltenham Cemetery, Cheltenham, South Australia, in the Lawn section, Drive: D, Row: 24, Site Number: 453C.³

     Hubert Stephen Faggotter was born on 28 June 1895 in Hallett, South Australia, son of Walter Faggotter and Agnes Bertha Mountford.¹

On 5 July 1916 Hubert enlisted in the AIF, 43rd Infantry Battalion, in Adelaide, South Australia, together with his brother Harry Oliver in Adelaide, South Australia.²

On 27 August 1918, Hubert, aged 23, married Laura Maud Dansie, aged 21, daughter of Edward Dansie and Elizabeth Talbot, in McBride Hospital in Medindie, South Australia.³

He died on Sunday, 17 April 1966, aged 70 years, 9 months and 20 days, in Daw Park, South Australia, He had been living in Blackwood.^4,5

Hubert was buried on 19 April 1966 in the Centennial Park Cemetery, Pasadena, South Australia, in the section General E 16 229A.⁶

Life Events

     Harry Oliver Faggotter was born on 30 November 1896 in Hallett, South Australia, son of Walter Faggotter and Agnes Bertha Mountford.¹

On 4 April 1916 Harry enlisted in the AIF, 43rd Infantry Battalion, in Adelaide, South Australia, together with his brother Hubert Stephen.²

Harry was admitted to the Fargo Military Hospital Larkhill, Wiltshire, England, suffering from a severe and serious case of influenza on 30 July 1916.²

He was transferred to Tidworth Hospital, Tidworth, Wiltshire, England and reported as being "Dangerously ill" on 22 August 1916.²

On 7 October 1916 Harry was discharged from hospital, to duty, in Larkhill, Wiltshire, England.²

He proceeded overseas to France, with the 43rd Battalion, leaving Southampton, Hampshire, England.²

On 16 February 1917 Harry was wounded in action in France, "in the field" with shrapnel wounds.²

On 19 February 1917 he was taken, by Ambulance Train, to Wimereax, France, with severe wounds to the back and arms.²

On 22 February 1917 he was evacuated back to England and admitted to Northampton War Hospital, near Dunston, Northamptonshire, England.

On 5 July 1917 Harry reported for duty at the depot at in Perham Downs, Wiltshire, England.

On 14 September 1917 Harry was sent home to Australia aboard HMAT "Ulysses"² and on 23 November 1917 he was discharged from the Army.²

He died on Wednesday, 9 November 1966, aged 69 years, 11 months and 10 days, in Daw Park, South Australia. He had been living in Blackwood.^3,4

Harry was buried in the Centennial Park Cemetery, Pasadena, South Australia, in General B section, 228A.⁵

     Herbert Charles Hammond Faggotter was born on 13 June 1907 in Jamestown, South Australia, son of Ernest Benjamin Faggotter and Clara Jane Smith.¹

On 8 April 1931, Herbert, aged 23, married Vivienne Florence Maud Sowerby, aged 19, daughter of Victor Adolphus Stroud Sowerby and Florence Edith Roberts, in Methodist Church in Peterborough, South Australia. The officiating minister was the Reverend D. C. Harris.²

He died on Monday, 11 February 1985, aged 77 years, 7 months and 29 days, in Peterborough, South Australia, Before his death he lived at 20 Victoria Street, Peterborough.³

Herbert was buried in the Peterborough Cemetry, Peterborough, South Australia.⁴

He died on Thursday, 27 June 1968, aged 52 years, 7 months and 5 days, in Peterborough, South Australia, Before his death he lived at 11 Collins Street, Peterborough.³ Ernest was buried in in Peterborough Cemetery, Peterborough, South Australia, in the Protestant section 5, plot 1427, by Reverend T. Baker.³

Emily Hobbs emigrated on 5 April 1851 from from England to South Australia on board the "Omega", departing from Liverpool and eventually leaving Plymouth on 9th April 1851, accompanied by her husband George and daughters Mary and Martha Jane. They arrived in Port Adelaide, South Australia, on 28th July 1851.

She died in 1885, aged 54 years, in Echuca, Victoria, Australia.¹
