Agnes Bertha Mountford was born on 31 May 1870 in Undalya, South Australia.1

On 6 July 1892, Agnes, aged 22, married Walter Faggotter, aged 25, son of Charles Fellows Faggotter and Jane Hobbs, in the residence of Thomas Mountford in Hallett, South Australia.1

She died on Tuesday, 1 February 1898, aged 27 years and 8 months, in Hundred of Parnaroo, South Australia, of heat apoplexy (heat stroke).
From "The Advertiser", 4 February, 1898
SUDDEN DEATH.
Petersburg, February 2.
Agnes Bertha Faggotter, wife of Walter Faggotter, farmer, hundred of Parnaroo, died suddenly at Oodla Wirra at about 4.30 p.m. on Tuesday last. It appears the deceased had been ailing slightly since the previous Friday, but showed no signs of serious illness until two hours before she died. She then complained of feeling very hot, and about half an hour before her death she became unconscious, and breathing was very difficult. Death was probably due to the extreme heat which prevailed at the time.
The police at Petersburg received a wire on Wednesday morning with reference to the sudden death, and M.C. McCarthy was at once dispatched to the spot and furnished a report of the case to the local justice of the peace (Mr. Fred Taylor), who, after making all necessary enquiries, deemed an inquest un-necessary.
