The bride entered the Church on the arm of her father gowned in windswept satins, trimmed with latticed bodice and flared hem. The handmade tulle veil was arranged with a coronet of orange blossom and buds to form the train. She carried a bouquet of Easter lilies.
The bridesmaids, Misses Beryl Davy and Audrey Faggotter, wore blue and lemon frocks of georgette, with picture hats to tone, and carried bouquets of blue delphiniums and Golden Emblem roses. Little Joan Faggotter, the bridegroom's niece, who was flower girl, was attired in an early Victorian frock of pink taffeta, frilled to the hem, and she carried a basket of pink roses.
Mr. Arnold Faggotter was best man, and Mr. Stanley Anderson was groomsman.
A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents. The bride's mother wore a frock of navy sand crepe, a navy hat, and carried a posy of blue flowers. The bridegroom's mother chose a toilette of black crepe with touches of white and wore a hat to match, and carried a posy of yellow roses. The couple left amid showers of confetti and good wishes for their future home at Corney Point, Yorke Peninsula.3
