     Thomas Sydney Dixon was born about 1897 in New Brighton, Cheshire, England, son of Robert Dixon.2

In 1922 he was a railway official in South Australia.2

On 6 September 1922, Thomas, married Ethel Ruby Haines, aged 26, daughter of Thomas Haines and Elizabeth Baird, in Methodist Church in Kapunda, South Australia. The officiating minister was Reverend P. Eckersley and the witnesses were G.E.H. Beasley, home duties, Mile End and M. Davies, contractor, Wallaroo.1

He Superintendent in the South Australian Railways.3

He died on Monday, 2 October 1967, in Malvern, South Australia.4

Thomas was buried in the Centennial Park Cemetery, Pasadena, South Australia, in Acacia C section, Path CD, Grave 310.4
