     Caroline Tangye Kirton was born in December 1875 in St Austell, Cornwall, England, daughter of Robert Hill Kirton and Martha Emma Jesper.1

She appeared on the census on 31 March 1901, in the household of Reverend Alexander Hannavelle Le Marchant in 26 Stonebridge Place, Willesden, Middlesex, England, as visitor, aged 25 (ed. wife's sister.)2

To my knowledge, Caroline wasand were never married.

She died on Friday, 2 July 1937, aged 61 years and 7 months, in Eversleigh Nursing Home, Clarendon Place, Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, England.3

Her estate was probated on 29 July 1937 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, to Enid Mary Macbeath (wife of John Noel Macbeth) and the said John Noel Macbeth, advertising agent. Effects £1958 12s. 5d. (approx. 2013 value = AU$516,000.00.)3
