     Kenneth Robert Bosworth was born on 8 January 1913 in Port Augusta, South Australia, son of Robert Bosworth and Ada Maria Manfield.1

On 30 March 1940, Kenneth, aged 27, married Jean Evelyn Phillips, aged 23, daughter of Ernest Phillips and Blanche Myrtle Doddridge, in St Columba's Church in Hawthorn, South Australia.
The marriage of Jean Evelyn Phillips, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Phillips, of KingswoodPark, with Kenneth Robert Bosworth, younger son of Mrs. A. M. Bosworth, of Malvern, and the late Mr. R. Bosworth, will be celebrated at St. Columba's Church, Hawthorn, at 5 p.m. today. the bride will wear a gown of ivory satin with pearl embroidery, and her short tulle veil will be held in place by a cluster of orange blossom. She will carry a small posy of cream flowers. The bridesmaid, Miss Jean Cowan, will wear an aquamarine dinner gown, and carry a posy of deep maize flowers. Mr. Douglas Whiting will be best man. The Rev. C. W. E. Swan will officiate at the ceremony. the bride and bridegroom will leave on Sunday to make their home in Melbourne.2
On 17 June 1940 Kenneth began his millitary service when he enlisted in the Australian Army in Adelaide, South Australia. His Service Number was SX5549. He was discharged on 27 November 1945 with the rank of Corporal, in the 2/5th Company AASC.3

He died on Sunday, 19 February 1995, aged 82 years, 1 month and 11 days, in South Australia.4
