     Raphael James McEvoy was born on 19 November 1892 in Bute, South Australia, son of Dennis Matthew McEvoy and Ellen Jane Case.

Raphael James McEvoy was known as "Ray" to his family and friends.1

Raphael began military service on 3 April 1916 in Kadina, South Australia, when he enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force. His service number was 4332. He embarked from Adelaide on 7th November 1916, arriving in Plymouth on 9th January 1917. After serving in France he returned to Australia on 6thy May 1919.2

On 4 February 1921, Raphael, aged 28, married Victoria May Bullock, aged 19, daughter of George Allen Bullock and Ellen Taylor Daniel, in St Mary's Catholic Church in Wallaroo, South Australia.3

He died on Wednesday, 21 March 1973, aged 80 years, 4 months and 2 days.1

     Vincent Anthony McEvoy was born on 30 August 1897 in Bute, South Australia, son of Dennis Matthew McEvoy and Ellen Jane Case.

On 8 April 1920, Vincent, aged 22, married Ruby Maude Bullock, aged 21, daughter of George Allen Bullock and Ellen Taylor Daniel, in St Canice Church in Snowtown, South Australia.1

On 25 July 1940 Vincent began his millitary service when he enlisted in the Australian Army in Wayville, South Australia. His Service Number was S908. He was discharged on 23 February 1944 with the rank of Corporal, in the Australian Army Pay Corps.2

He died on Tuesday, 20 August 1963, aged 65 years, 11 months and 21 days.
