He died on Tuesday, 5 September 1922, aged 89 years, 1 month and 30 days, in Maylands, South Australia.1

On 8 April 1849 Charlotte emigrated from England to South Australia on board the "Sir Charles Forbes", under Captain C Laing, leaving Liverpool and arriving in Port Adelaide on 7th June 1849.1,3
On 7 December 1853, Charlotte, married William (Dobbin) Gray, aged 20, son of Isaac George Gray and Sarah Jane Hunt, in St George's Church in Magill, South Australia.1
She died on Wednesday, 8 March 1911, aged 76 years, in Glynde, South Australia.1
Charlotte was buried in the Payneham Cemetery, Payneham, South Australia.
