Also on board were his sister, Susannah and her husband, Henry Talbot and their son, John Henry, 1 yr. His younger sister, Jane, age 17, was also on board as was Henry Talbot's brother, Thomas and his wife, Eliza, and sons David, aged 4 and Charles, 1 year old.
They all arrived in Port Adelaide on 26 Aug, 1853.6
George was widowed with the death of his wife, Harriet Ann Moore about 1860.4
On 9 August 1862, George, aged 29, married Elizabeth Woodward, in the residence of Stephen Stacey in Stirling North, South Australia.7
On 31 January 1870 George was a witness at the Marriage of Henry Fort Lord and Fanny Hobbs in Outalpa Station, South Australia.4
George was once again widowed with the death of his second wife, Elizabeth Woodward, on 6 September 1873 in Mount Bryan, South Australia.8
On 17 December 1876, George, aged 43, married Clara Leah Gillies, daughter of William Smith, in Wesleyan Church in Melrose, South Australia. The Minister was Paul C. Thomas and the witnesses were William and Mary Ann Hobbs, Teamsters, of Melrose.7
He died on Saturday, 24 May 1902, aged 69 years, 4 months and 4 days, in Port Augusta West, South Australia.8
