Celina Wyatt

Celina Wyatt was born in 1849.On 19 May 1867, Celina, married Henry Ackland Carslake, aged 18, in the residence of Thomas Braithwaite in North Adelaide, South Australia.1
She died in August 1934, aged 85 years, in Mallala, South Australia.

With the death of Mrs. Celena Carslake at the age of 85, the Mallala district lost one of its oldest residents.
The third daughter of the late James and Eliza Wyatt, she came to this State from Cornwall at the age of three, and lived with her parents near Salisbury.
In 1867 she married Henry Ackland Carslake, and in 1874, with her husband, took up land at Windsor. Two years later the couple transferred to a holding nearer Mallala, and Mrs. Carslake had lived in the district from that time. Mr. Carslake died in 1931.
Surviving members of the family are — John C. (Avon), Charles E. (Dublin), George (Western Australia), William R. (Prospect), and Brice W. (Naturi), Mesdames G. T. Arnold (Mallala), W. Bott (Islington), T. Pym (Avon), L. Thornton (Adelaide). There are 45 grand- children and 39 great grandchildren.2
