     Reginald George Brandon was born on 29 December 1916 in Murat Bay, South Australia, son of George Henry Brandon and Ida Charlotte Hampel.1

On 13 July 1940 Reginald began his millitary service when he enlisted in the Australian Army in Wayville, South Australia. His Service Number was SX8790. He was awarded the Military Medal during the New Guinea campaign of the Second World War for "conspicuous gallantry at Buna Aerodrome on 26th December 1942.
He was discharged on 15 February 1946 with the rank of Lance Corporal, in the 3rd Australian Mobile Laundry & F D U.2

Reginald was buried in the Port Lincoln, South Australia, by the Reverend J. Green in the Happy Valley Cemetery .3

He died on Tuesday, 16 October 1979, aged 62 years, 9 months and 17 days, in Port Lincoln, South Australia.3

     Lindsay Herbert Brandon was born on 19 January 1918 in Rudall, South Australia, son of George Henry Brandon and Ida Charlotte Hampel.1

On 16 October 1942 Lindsay began his millitary service when he enlisted in the Australian Army in Hazelwood Park, South Australia. His Service Number was SX25574. He was discharged on 15 February 1946 with the rank of Corporal, in the 2/1st Australian Topographical Survey Company.2

On Monday, 2 September 1946 the engagement of Lindsay Herbert Brandon and Patricia Philp Wishart was announced in "The Advertiser", in Adelaide.3

On 17 May 1947, Lindsay, aged 29, married Patricia, aged 27, daughter of Alfred Philp Wishart and Edith Grace Nettell, in All Souls Church in St Peters, South Australia.3

He died on Friday, 13 November 1998, aged 80 years, 9 months and 25 days, in South Australia,4 and he was cremated at Centennial Park Cemetery, Pasadena, South Australia, on 18 November 1998.4
