     Frederick Ellis Errey was born on 15 June 1911 in Rose Park, South Australia, son of Frederick Edward Errey and Alice Eva Moody.1

Frederick began military service on 11 September 1941, when he enlisted in the Royal Australian Air Force. His service number was 416752. When he was discharged, on 14 November 1945, he held the rank of Pilot Officer with the 8th Squadron.2

He died on Wednesday, 23 October 1991, aged 80 years, 4 months and 8 days, in Flagstaff Hill, South Australia,3 and he was cremated at Centennial Park Cemetery, Pasadena, South Australia, on 28 October 1991.3
