The Methodist Church was crowded to excess on Wednes day afternoon to witness the celebration by Rev. G. M'Larcn of a marriage between Mr. Tom Staker and Miss Mabel Nettle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Nettle. The bride looked charming in a pretty costume of tucked Indian muslin with Maltese lace and moire ribbon trimming, a wreath of orange blossom and white tulle veil also being worn. She was attended as bridesmaids by her sisters, Misses Zillah and Alma Nettle, both becomingly dressed in cream nainsook, trimmed with edelweiss and eau de nil ribbon. The above dresses were all made under the able direction of Miss Dawson.
Mr. Arthur Staker acted as groomsman to his brother. After partaking of light refreshments at the house of the bride's parents, the time-honored and appropriate toasts were proposed and responded to, and the happy couple drove off amidst eheers to their new home at the Lady Mary.2
