Hilda was buried on 17 May 1945 in the Centennial Park Cemetery, Pasadena, South Australia, in the General Section, Pathe 21, Grave 1458.⁴

James was cremated in the Centennial Park Cemetery, Pasadena, South Australia, and there was a memorial plaque installed, however this has since been surrendered and removed.²
