STRUCK—WHITE
At the Holy Trinity Church. Riverton, Godfrey, youngest, son of Mrs. and the late Mr. A. Struck, of Quorn, was married to Grace Ellen White, eldest daughter of Mrs. M. H. Oakes, of Riverton. The bride, who was given away by her uncle, Mr. G. Stancliffe, of Clare, wore a white crepe satin frock, moulded to the figure, with coat sleeves, flared from the hips to tbe ankles. A cap-fashioned veil was sprayed with orange blossom, and she carried a sheaf of pink and white gladioli with white streamers.
The bride was attended by her step-sister, Miss Alice Oakes, who was dressed in a two-tone pink crepe de chene and georgette frock, ankle length, with hat and shoes to match. She carried a sheaf of pink gladioli with pink streamers. Mr. Bob Oakes was best man. The bride was married with the same ring her mother wore 40 years ago. The bridegroom's present to the bridesmaid was a gold bangle and to the best men a pair of gold sleeve links.
The bride's mother, who received the guests at the parish hall for the reception, was gowned in navy silk marocain with hat and shoes to match, and carried a posy of autumn shades.
The bride travelled in a beaver brown crepe de chene frock with lace coatee and godets, and wore hat and shoes to match. The bride and bridegroom left for their honeymoon by motor car. Their future home will be at Quom.
