     Godfrey Nelson Struck was born on 26 December 1899 in Quorn, South Australia.3

On 14 January 1933, Godfrey, aged 33, married Grace Ellen White, daughter of James Laver White and Alice Maud Lord, in Holy Trinity Church in Riverton, South Australia.1,2
STRUCK—WHITE
     At the Holy Trinity Church. Riverton, Godfrey, youngest, son of Mrs. and the late Mr. A. Struck, of Quorn, was married to Grace Ellen White, eldest daughter of Mrs. M. H. Oakes, of Riverton.
     The bride, who was given away by her uncle, Mr. G. Stancliffe, of Clare, wore a white crepe satin frock, moulded to the figure, with coat sleeves, flared from the hips to tbe ankles. A cap-fashioned veil was sprayed with orange blossom, and she carried a sheaf of pink and white gladioli with white streamers.
     The bride was attended by her step-sister, Miss Alice Oakes, who was dressed in a two-tone pink crepe de chene and georgette frock, ankle length, with hat and shoes to match. She carried a sheaf of pink gladioli with pink streamers. Mr. Bob Oakes was best man. The bride was married with the same ring her mother wore 40 years ago. The bridegroom's present to the bridesmaid was a gold bangle and to the best men a pair of gold sleeve links.
     The bride's mother, who received the guests at the parish hall for the reception, was gowned in navy silk marocain with hat and shoes to match, and carried a posy of autumn shades.
     The bride travelled in a beaver brown crepe de chene frock with lace coatee and godets, and wore hat and shoes to match. The bride and bridegroom left for their honeymoon by motor car. Their future home will be at Quom.
     The church was prettily decorated with gladioli by the women of the church and the Girls' Friendly Society.3

QUORN MAN BEFORE COURT

     In the Quorn Police Court, presided over in Adelaide on Wednesday by Mr. W. C. Gillespie, S.M., Godfrey Nelson Struck, fitter, of Quorn, an employe of the Commonwealth Railways, was convicted on a charge that between about July 14 and August 30, without lawful authority, he took out of the possession of the Commonwealth certain material. Struck was sent to gaol for two months.
     The evidence was heard in Quorn. Inspector Crafter prosecuted and Mr. J. L Travers appeared for Struck.3

Colin Maxwell McKay1

     Colin Maxwell McKay was born on 12 December 1909 in Silver Bell, Tasmania, Australia.1

On 29 May 1940 Colin, when he enlisted in the Rayal Australian Navy. His service number was H1213. When he died in an accident aboard HMAS "Katoomba" he was an Able Seaman in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.2

He died on Tuesday, 24 November 1942, aged 32 years, 11 months and 12 days, the result of an accident in on board HMAS "Katoomba", Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.3

Colin was buried on 25 November 1942 in the Sydney War Cemetery, Rookwood, New South Wales, Australia.3
