     Frederick Alma Hinder was born about January 1896 in Llanelly, Camarthenshire, Wales, son of Henry Hinder.1

Frederick appeared on the census of 2 April 1911 in Llwyn Crwn, Pontyates, Camarthenshire, Wales, as a son, aged 15. He was a worker at the coal mines, "above ground".
Others in the house at that time were his parents, Henry and Margaret Hinder; his siblings William James, 16, Rosie May, 13, Martha Violet, 10 and Netta Muriel Maud, 5. There were also three single boarders living with them.3

About December 1917, Frederick, married Hannah M George, in Llanelly, Camarthenshire, Wales.1

He died about March 1946, in Neath, Glamorganshire, Wales.1
