     Walter Jesper was born on 9 May 1863 in Bradford, Yorkshire, England, son of Alfred Jesper and Rebecca West.1

In September 1889, Walter, aged 26, married Edith Elizabeth Dixon, aged 28, in Bradford, Yorkshire, England.2

Walter, age 37, appeared on the census of 31 March 1901 in Beechwood, Menston, Yorkshire, England, as head aged 37, occupation Mill Manager, worsted cloth
Also present was his wife Edith, aged 40 and domestic servant, Amy Chippindale, single and 30.3

Walter and Edith appear to have had no children.

He died on Tuesday, 25 February 1947, aged 83 years, 9 months and 16 days, in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England.2

Probate was granted on his estate on 14 May 1947 in Lancaster, Lancashire, England, to Edith Elizabeth Jesper, widow and William Henry Satterthwaite, solicitor. His estate was worth £8,699 16s 6d (approx. 2013 value = AU$1,322,000.00.)4
