Lillian Winifred Hawkins was born in April 1882 in St Pancras, Middlesex, England, daughter of Amos Hawkins and Emma Ensten.1She was christened on 30 April 1882 in St Matthew, St Pancras, Middlesex, England.2
Lillian, age 18, appeared on the census of 31 March 1901 in Netherby Road, Stevenage, Hertfordshire, England, the home of Mary F. Cameron, a 50-year old widow who was living on her own means. Lilian was listed as a visitor, also living on her own means.1
On 28 October 1911 Lillian aged 29, married Ambrose Alexander, son of Henry Nelson Alexander and Elizabeth Phoebe Smith, in Parish Church of St Philip, Kensington, London, England, following Banns being read. The witnesses were E. Hawkins and J. E. Alexander. Both fathers were deceased but were "ranked" as Gentlemen.1,3
On 21 May 1915 she arrived in London on board the "Highland Scot" from River Plate, Argentina.4
She died about March 1966, in Chichester, Sussex West, England.5
