Then he blew the bellows until the charge exploded, carring away his head. Domestic trouble is the cause assigned.1,4

The funeral of the late Mr. W. Pring took place at Newton Poppleford yesterday. The ceremony was conducted by the Rev. H. F. G. James (Vicar). The mourners were Miss Pring (sister), Mr. W. Sellick (brother-in-law), Mrs. Gigg (sister-in-law), Mr. Walter Sellick (brother-in-law), Mr. T. Sellick (brother-in-law), Mrs. Mary Ann Sellick (Colaton Raleigh), aunt; Mr. H. Gigg (brother-in-law), and Mr. H. Grigg (nephew), Sidmouth; Mr. and Mrs. L. Sellick (brother and sister-in-law), Sidmouth; Mrs. M. Cockram (Colaton Raleigh), aunt, Mr. L. Gooding and Miss M. Bastyn (Sidmouth), cousins. The coffin was polished elm, and the undertaker was Mr. Thomas Podbury.5,4
