     Harold Keith Blundell was born on 18 July 1923 in Mile End, South Australia, son of Bryan Harold Pole Blundell and Mary Elizabeth Ethel Knight.1

On 5 February 1942 Harold began his millitary service when he enlisted in the Royal Australian Airforce in Adelaide, South Australia. His Service Number was 47492. He was discharged on 11 June 1945 with the rank of Leading Aircraftman, in the 15th Aircraft Repair Depot.2

He died on Monday, 2 January 1995, aged 71 years, 5 months and 15 days, in Semaphore Park, South Australia,3 and he was cremated at Centennial Park Cemetery, Pasadena, South Australia, on 6 January 1995.3
