Life Events

     Thomas Brandon was born on 26 February 1913 in Wilmington, South Australia, son of Charles Thomas Brandon and Matilda Florence Anderson.1

On 27 July 1940, Thomas, aged 27, married Daphne Annie Nicholls, aged 24, in Booleroo Whim, South Australia.2

On 19 January 1942 Thomas began his millitary service when he enlisted in the Australian Army in Wilmington, South Australia. His Service Number was S72500. He was discharged on 1 October 1945 with the rank of Private, in the 6th Battalion Volunteer Defence Corps.3

He died on Wednesday, 10 September 2008, aged 95 years, 6 months and 15 days, in Booleroo Centre, South Australia.2

Thomas was buried in the Wilmington Cemetery, Wilmington, South Australia.4
Thomas had an obituary on 15 September 2008, in "The Adelaide Advertiser."5

To my knowledge, Lawrence wasand were never married.

He died on Sunday, 3 February 1963, aged 43 years, 5 months and 10 days, in Woodville, South Australia, from staphylococcal enteritis, congenital mental defeciency & epilepsy.
Prior to his death he had been living in Northfield.2

A memorial to Lawrence can be found at Wilmington Cemetery, Wilmington, South Australia.3
