On 31 July 1926, Oliver, aged 21, married Rebecca Clara Pearl Saler, aged 20,1 and he was cremated at Centennial Park Cemetery, Pasadena, South Australia.2

He died on Wednesday, 15 December 1976, aged 71 years, 4 months and 15 days, in Port Pirie, South Australia.3

Oliver's ashes were interred on 28 July 1977 in the Port Pirie Cemetery, Port Pirie, South Australia, in the Protestant Reserve section, plot 34.4

She died on Friday, 20 April 1979, aged 73 years and 16 days, in Port Pirie, South Australia.2

Rebecca was buried on 22 April 1979 in the Port Pirie Cemetery, Port Pirie, South Australia, by Reverend Niehus in the Protestant Reserve section G, plot 34.2
