The Omega was a 762 ton ship which sailed, under Captain Samuel Potter, from London on 5th April 1851, via Plymouth, where they left on 19th April, bound for South Australia with 328 Government Emigrants on board. They arrived in Port Adelaide on 28th July 1851.
