The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a classically cut trained frock of heavy ivory satin. Her two-tiered full length veil was finished with a halo trimmed with orange blos- soms. She carried a trailer bouquet of dahlias, roses, carnations, and stephanotis, and a satin floral horseshoe.
The chief bridesmaid, Miss Esme Dittman, was frocked in rose pink taffeta, with a tulle veil and headdress of matching flowers, and carried a bouquet of pink carnations and forget-me-nots with fern. The second bridesmaid, Miss Lorna Barber, wore a frock of sky blue taffeta, with a tulle veil and headdress of flowers. She also carried a bouquet of carnations and forget-me-nots.
The bride groom was attended by Warrant Officer Jack Frisshorn as best man, and Pte. John Mclver as groomsman.
The reception was held at Whitehouse's Cafe, where the bride's mother received the guests. She wore a hyacinth blue crepe frock with black ac- cessories, and carried a bouquet of pink carnations. The two tier wedding cake was a central feature of the tables, which were artistically decorated, pink and blue being the main colourings. Several telegrams were read at the reception.
For travelling the bride chose a frock of hydranga blue with navy accessories. The honeymoon was spent at South port.3

Horsnell, 29 Whitehill-road, Ipswich, and Corporal Vernon Lance Dansie, second son of Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Dansie, Broken Hill, N.S.W. Rev. H.
