CARTER. – The Funeral of Mrs. Rosie May Carter, the loved wife of Mr. James Henry Carter, of Boolarra, South Gippsland, took place yesterday afternoon, leaving the residence of her father-in-law, Mr. Thomas Carter, Mackenzie Street West, to the place of interment, the Kangaroo Flat Cemetery. It was attended by a large number of friends and relatives. The polished oak casket, covered with beautiful floral tokens of sympathy was carried to the grave by Messrs. A. Pinal, J. Blake, A. McDonald, and H. Feeley. Rev. Alfred Madsen officiated at the home and grave. Mr. W. H. Oakley had charge of the funeral arrangements.2
