Life Events

     Edwin James William Coventry was born on 26 September 1910 in Crystal Brook, South Australia, son of Willie Charles Coventry and May Matilda Martin.1

Edwin began military service on 4 December 1939 in Port Pirie, South Australia, when he enlisted in the Australian Army and joined the Army Medical Corps2. He was discharged on 31 August 1945, with the rank of Private in the A A P S.3

On 10 January 1943, Edwin, aged 32, married Hilda Jane Anthony, aged 35, in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia.4

He died on Friday, 17 July 1987, aged 76 years, 9 months and 21 days, in Adelaide, South Australia.5
