     Stanley Keith Couzner was born on 10 October 1923 in Jamestown, South Australia, son of Henry Alfred Couzner and Charlotte Elizabeth Gale.1

Stanley began military service on 29 October 1942 in Jamestown, South Australia, when he enlisted in the Australian Army. His service number was SX26451. He was discharged on 20th December 1948, with the rank of Crafsman in British Commonwealth Occupation Force Workshops Electical & Mechanical Engineers.2 He was also called "Larry."3

On 31 October 1946, Stanley, aged 23, married Joyce Lorraine Price, aged 19.

He died on Wednesday, 22 March 1989, aged 65 years, 5 months and 12 days. He had been living in Ferryden Park4 and he was cremated at Enfield Memorial Park, Browning Street, Clearview, South Australia. The whereabouts of his ashes are unknown to me.
