     William (Dobbin) Gray was born on 6 July 1833 in Thornford, Sherborne, Dorset, England, son of Isaac George Gray and Sarah Jane Hunt.¹ William (Dobbin) Gray immigrated on 14 September 1851to Port Adelaide, South Australia, on board the "Reliance."¹

On 7 December 1853, William, aged 20, married Charlotte Atkinson Fayers, daughter of Robert Septimus Fayers and Charlotte Atkinson, in St George's Church in Magill, South Australia.¹

He died on Tuesday, 5 September 1922, aged 89 years, 1 month and 30 days, in Maylands, South Australia.¹

     Charlotte Atkinson Fayers was born in 1835 in Bildeston, Suffolk, England, daughter of Robert Septimus Fayers and Charlotte Atkinson.¹

She was baptized on 27 November 1835 in Ipswich, Suffolk, England.

On 8 April 1849 Charlotte emigrated from England to South Australia on board the "Sir Charles Forbes", under Captain C Laing, leaving Liverpool and arriving in Port Adelaide on 7th June 1849.^1,3

On 7 December 1853, Charlotte, married William (Dobbin) Gray, aged 20, son of Isaac George Gray and Sarah Jane Hunt, in St George's Church in Magill, South Australia.¹

She died on Wednesday, 8 March 1911, aged 76 years, in Glynde, South Australia.¹

Charlotte was buried in the Payneham Cemetery, Payneham, South Australia.

     John Hinton Edmonds was born on 2 May 1846 in Hammersmith, South Australia, son of William Bennett Edmonds and Elizabeth Ann Evans.

On 28 January 1874, John, aged 27, married Mary Louisa Puplett, aged 22, daughter of James Puplett and Lucy Perry, in St Augustine Church in Virginia, South Australia.
The witnesses were Mary's father, James Puplett, baker of Virginia, her sister Elizabeth's husband, William Ridgway, Hotel Keeper of Virginia, Mary's cousin, Mary Perry from Willunga and Alice Stanbury, Adelaide.²

John was a station manager and book-keeper at Minburra Station, north-east of Orroroo, in South Australia.

He died on Wednesday, 23 January 1889, aged 42 years, 8 months and 21 days, in Murray Street, North Adelaide, South Australia, from Spinal Sclerosis.³

John was buried in the West Terrace Cemetery, Adelaide, South Australia, in Plan 3 section, row 10, site no. 132.⁴

Mary Louisa Puplett accompanied her parents James and Lucy on their Emigration from London, England, to South Australia in December 1854.¹

On 28 January 1874, Mary, aged 22, married John Hinton Edmonds, aged 27, son of William Bennett Edmonds and Elizabeth Ann Evans, in St Augustine Church in Virginia, South Australia.
The witnesses were Mary's father, James Puplett, baker of Virginia, her sister Elizabeth's husband, William Ridgway, Hotel Keeper of Virginia, Mary's cousin, Mary Perry from Willunga and Alice Stanbury, Adelaide.²

On 4 May 1899 she died at home in Young Street, Parkside, South Australia, of phthitis (TB), aged 47.³

Mary was buried in the West Terrace Cemetery, Adelaide, South Australia, in Plan 3 section, row 10, site no. 132.⁴

Witnesses were Florence's sisters, Mary Isobel Edmonds of Port Adelaide and Gertrude Hinton Edmonds of Waymouth Street, Adelaide. Before they were married both the bride and the groom lived, separately, in Young Street, Parkside.^2,3

In 1930 Florence and Henry were living in 13 Chesterfield Parade, Randwick, New South Wales, Australia.⁴

In 1943 Florence and Henry were living in 38 Merriwa Street, Gordon, New South Wales, Australia, and they were still living there in 1954.⁴

She died about 1959, in Chatswood, New South Wales, Australia.⁵
