Mr. Vessels was born in Louisville, Kentucky on November 20, 1911 and was a resident of Florida since 1980, moving from Garden City, Michigan. He married Irene Kiesling in Detroit on November 20, 1941. Mr. Vessels retired from Davis Tool and Die in Detroit in 1976. Surviving are his wife Irene; 2 daughters, Carol and husband Jim Koepfle of Bellville, Marilyn and husband Steve Sexis of Canton, Ohio; 2 granddaughters; 1 grandson; many nieces and nephews.1
