     AT Solomontown Methodist Church last night the marriage was celebrated of Mr. Leslie Arthur Belcher, only son of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Bel cher, of Solomontown, to Miss Daphne E. Laver, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. N. Laver, of Solomon town.
     The church was decorated' with blue and white flowers by Misses L. Trestral, L. Phillips, and Sister Brown. Rev. F. R. French, of Semaphore, was the officiating clergyman, with Rev. A. T. Strange in attendance.
     The bride, given away by her father, Mr. W. E. N.. Laver, was gowned in white pebble crepe, with cowl neck and sleeves, and a long train. Her embroidered lace veil, kindly lent by Mrs. G. Hamley, of Solomontown, was drawn over the head cap fashion, and was trimmed with orange blossom. She carried an armful of creme Lady Hillingdon rosebuds.
     Miss Jean Leaver, of Grange, dressed in a three-shaded blue floral silk georgette frock with a back panel of frills falling into a train, was bridesmaid. The frilled neck of the dress fell off the shoulders, and about the waist was a sash tied at the back. She wore a halo of blue forget-me-nots, and carried an armfull of creme Lady Hillingdon rosebuds
     Little Heather Laver (sister of the bride) wore a long white crepe de chine frock with two frills at the hem, puffed sleeves, a frilled collar, and a sash. She acted as flower girl and held a posy of pink roses. On her hair she wore a halo of blue forget-me-nots.
     The page boy, Allan Alderson, wore a suit of white satin with the customary short trousers, long sleeves, and buckles. He carried the satin cushion and ring.
     Mr. A. Waters was best man.
     Mrs. Laver (mother of the bride) chose a light-brown floral sand crept dress with brown swagger coat and hat to match. She carried a posy of creme rosebuds.
     The bridegroom's mother wore brown floral crepe de chine, with a brown hat. Her posy was of autumn tints.
     During the service the choir rendered "Radiant Morn," and Miss E. Coles presided at the organ.
The Reception
     The reception was held in Solomotown Circle Hall, where 35 guests gathered. The tables were decorated in blue.
     Revs. French and Strang toasted "The Bride and Bridegroom", to which Mr. Belcher responded. The bridegroom then proposed the health of the bridesmaids, for which Mr. Waters responded. "The Parents" was toasted by Mr. S. Milnes and acknowledged by Mr. Laver.
     Soon after the reception the couple left by car on their honeymoon. They intend to visit Kangaroo Island.
     Mrs. Belcher's travelling frock was a light grey ensemble with hat, shoes, and handbags to match.
     Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Belcher will reside on Wandearah road. Risdon Park.
