     John Hinton was born about 1750.

In 1804 he owned and operated the Greenland Upper Mill in Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, England.1

In a will dated 1815 he left money to assist with the maintenance of the Baptist Church in St Margaret's Street, Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, England.1

In 1820 he was a Dissenting Minister of the Gospel in Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, England.1

He died in 1821, in Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, England.

His estate was probated on 22 July 1822 in Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, England.

The executor's of his will offered the Greenland Upper Mill for sale in 1844.

Life Events

     David James Harvey was born on 12 October 1921 in Wilmington, South Australia, son of William John Harvey and Ethel May Barrass.1

On 16 March 1943 David enlisted in the Australian Army in Woodside, South Australia, service number SX28936.2

He died on Thursday, 9 September 1943, aged 21 years, 10 months and 28 days, in New Guinea from war injuries.3

David was buried in the Port Moresby (Bomana) War Cemetery, Port Moresby, New Guinea.4
