Adelaide, Oct. 20.
The two-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Alchin, of Jamestown, was left standing near a tub of boiling water, when a dog rushed in and frightened the child, who fell backwards into the tub. He was taken to the hospital, suffering from scalds and shock, from which he died.2,3
Laurence was buried on 20 October 1930 in the Jamestown Cemetery, Jamestown, South Australia, by Ensign Shenn, plot BG1.4
