Brighton Methodist Church was the scene of a pretty wedding when Winifred, second daughter of Mr. and. Mrs. F. J. Wiltshire, of Brighton, was married to Herbert, only son of MIr. H. C. D. Collyer, of Brighton.
     Rev. F. Bullock officiated.
The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a sleeveless frock of silver lame and pink georgette. The bodice was of silver with pink georgette vest, the skirt having alternate panels of silver lame and pink georgette with inedallions of silver. A pink and silver spray was worn at the waist.
She wore a long tulle veil which formed a train, and it was fastened round her head by bands of orange blossom and silver ribbon. A rope of pink pearls and a gold armlet, the gifts of the bridegroom, were worn, and she carried a shower bou quet of pink and white flowers with pink streamers.
Miss Dora Wiltshire, who was the only bridesmaid, was gowned in a sleeveless frock of pink and white chenille georgette made with a band of white fur round the hem, and a shoulder posy. She wore a cap of pink tulle and silver lace and a rope of pink seed pearls, the gift of the bridegroom. She carried a shower bouquet of pink with touches of mauve.
Mr. T. R. Brown was best man.
During the signing of the register Miss Edith Wiltshire, A.T.C.Ir., (sister of the bride) sang "A Song of Thanlksgiving." The church was decorated by friends of the bride with masses of lilies and gum leaves.
A reception was held at the school hall, where Mr. and Mrs. Wiltshire and the bridal party received about 60 guests. The tables were decorated with pink sweet peas, Iceland poppies, and stocks.
Mrs. F. J. Wiltshire, mother of the bride, was in a frock of pastel crepe de chine with a black silk and crinoline hat, relieved with mauve and autumn tinted flowers. She carried a mauve posy.
Rev. F. Blullock wished the bridal couple every happiness, and a musical and elocutionary programme was contributed by Mrs. J. Hollow, Miss Edith Wiltshire, Messrs. F. C. Wade, H. Harwood, and Bruce McDougall.
The bride travelled in a tan shade marocain frock trimmed with fawn and made with a bolero jacket. She wore a hat and coat of the same shade.4
She died on Friday, 12 October 1990, aged 90 years, 9 months and 21 days, in Adelaide, South Australia. She had been living in Warradale,5,6 and she was cremated at Centennial Park Cemetery, Pasadena, South Australia, on 16 October 1990.6
