     Lewis James Bradock was born on 26 February 1910 in Crystal Brook, South Australia, son of John James Bradock and Emily Adelaide Stacey.1

On 1 March 1937, Lewis, aged 27, married Jean Thelma James, in St Augustines Church in Renmark, South Australia.2

On 28 August 1941 Lewis began his millitary service when he enlisted in the Australian Army in Wayville, South Australia. His Service Number was SX14250. He was discharged on 9 January 1946 with the rank of Private, in the 2/48 Transport Platoon.3,4

Last night it was reported that Lenard Bradock, of Crystal Brook, who received a fractured skull and other injuries when his motor cycle collided with a car on Warnertown Road on Thursday, was showing slight improvement at Pirie Hospital.2
He died on Friday, 21 June 1968, aged 41 years, 2 months and 10 days, in Adelaide, South Australia. Prior to his death he had been living in Yacka.3

Lenard was buried on 24 June 1968 in the Crystal Brook Cemetery, Crystal Brook, South Australia.2
