On 16 September 1944, Mervyn, aged 24, married Muriel Doreen Schutt, aged 19, in Archer stree Methodist Church in North Adelaide, South Australia.³

He died on Thursday, 16 September 2004, aged 84 years, 9 months and 15 days, in South Australia.⁴

Mervyn was buried on 19 September 2004 in the Enfield Memorial Park, Browning Street, Clearview, South Australia.⁴

     Desmond Stephen Faggotter was born on 27 May 1923 in Medindie, South Australia, son of Hubert Stephen Faggotter and Laura Maud Dansie.¹

Desmond began military service on 20 September 1941 in Alberton, South Australia, when he enlisted in the Australian Army. His service number was S85019. When he was discharged, on 27th February 1943, he was a Private with 1 Battalion Volunteer Defence Corps.
Then, on 14 March 1944, he joined the Royal Australian Air Force. His service number was then 152473, and he was with 60 Operational Base Unit. He was discharged from there, with the rank of Leading Aircraftman, on 2nd July 1946.²

He died on Saturday, 4 October 2014, aged 91 years, 4 months and 7 days, in South Australia.³

Ronald began military service on 29 January 1943 in Corny Point, South Australia, when he enlisted in the Australian Army. His service number was SX28694. When he was discharged, on 6th June 1946, he was a Private with 2/2 Docks Operating Company.²

He died on Monday, 22 January 1962, aged 38 years, 11 months and 4 days, in Adelaide, South Australia, Before becoming ill he had been living in Blair Athol.
