About 1885Ellen was farming at Bute & Balaklava.2

She died at home on 18 July 1934, in New Street, Queenstown, South Australia, aged 72 years, 4 months and 25 days, of chronic myocarditis and myocardial degeneration.2,3

Ellen was buried on 21 July 1934 in the West Terrace Cemetery, Adelaide, South Australia.2
