     Charles Campbell Brimble was born on 14 October 1915 in Nailsworth, South Australia.2

On 13 December 1942 Charles began his millitary service when he enlisted in the Australian Army in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia. His Service Number was SX27810. He was discharged on 16 October 1945 with the rank of Craftsman, in the 2nd Australian Landing Crast WK (perhaps workshop?)3

On 15 September 1951, Charles, aged 35, married Josephine Eva Rynne, aged 35, daughter of John Bernard Rynne and Annie Francis Cook, in St Francis Xavier Cathedral, Wakefield Street in Adelaide, South Australia.1,4

He died on Sunday, 3 August 2003, aged 87 years, 9 months and 20 days, in Somerton Park, South Australia,5 and he was cremated at Centennial Park Cemetery, Pasadena, South Australia, on 8 August 2003.5

On Thursday, 1 July 2004 a memorial to Charles was placed in the Centennial Park Cemetery, Pasadena, South Australia, on the RSL Walls W 135 G004.5
