     Thomas William Rosser was born on 8 February 1853 in St Bride's Minor, Glamorganshire, Wales, son of Thomas Rosser and Rachel Lewis.2

On 11 November 1871, Thomas, aged 18, married Grace Bowden, in Bridgend, Glamorganshire, Wales.3

About June 1875, Thomas, married Margaret Ann Jones, in District of Bridgend in Glamorganshire, Wales.4,3

Thomas William Rosser emigrated on 30 June 1876 from Plymouth, Devon, England, to South Australia, arriving in Port Adelaide on 28th September on board the "Trevelyan". He was accompanied by his wife and 3 daughters.5

Thomas was widowed with the death of Margaret on 1 August 1879 in Kapunda, South Australia.4

On 20 November 1880, Thomas, aged 27, married Emma Haines, aged 25, daughter of James Haines and Hannah Flower, in residence of Mrs. Haines in Kapunda, South Australia. By W. O. Ashton.      Oscar Haines Rosser was born on 13 November 1892 in Kapunda, South Australia, son of Thomas William Rosser and Emma Haines.1

Oscar began military service on 14 December 1914 in Oaklands Park, South Australia, when he enlisted in the Australian Army. His service number was 876, and he joined the 3rd light Horse Regiment. On 23rd December 1918 he was discharged as "medically unfit". He had received a gunshot wound to the left arm on 13th April, while fighting in Palestine.2

On 20 February 1915, Oscar, aged 22, married Florence Margery McConnal, aged 19, in St Augustine Church in Port Augusta, South Australia.1

He died on Monday, 4 September 1961, aged 68 years, 9 months and 22 days, in New South Wales, Australia.

Oscar was buried on 6 September 1961 in the Rookwood Cemetery, Rookwood, New South Wales, Australia, in Zone F, Independent Lawn A section, Grave No. 28.
