     Joyce Margaret Oxlade was born on 23 December 1919 in Davenport, South Australia, daughter of Henry Charles Oxlade and Margaret Ethel Coad.²

She died from whooping cough on Sunday, 12 December 1920, aged 11 months and 19 days, in Port Augusta, South Australia.^1,3

Joyce was buried on 14 December 1920 in the Port Augusta Cemetery, Port Augusta, South Australia, by Canon Howard, in un-leased section, block 50, grave 3.⁴

     Frederick Patrick Searle was born about 1905.²

On 17 September 1932, Frederick, married Mavis Monalena Helen Oxlade, aged 18, daughter of Henry Charles Oxlade and Margaret Ethel Coad, in Registry Office in Port Augusta, South Australia.¹

     Thomas William Rosser was born on 8 February 1853 in St Bride's Minor, Glamorganshire, Wales, son of Thomas Rosser and Rachel Lewis.²

On 11 November 1871, Thomas, aged 18, married Grace Bowden, in Bridgend, Glamorganshire, Wales.³

About June 1875, Thomas, married Margaret Ann Jones, in District of Bridgend in Glamorganshire, Wales.^4,3

Thomas William Rosser emigrated on 30 June 1876 from Plymouth, Devon, England, to South Australia, arriving in Port Adelaide on 28th September on board the "Trevelyan". He was accompanied by his wife and 3 daughters.⁵

Thomas was widowed with the death of Margaret on 1 August 1879 in Kapunda, South Australia.⁴

On 20 November 1880, Thomas, aged 27, married Emma Haines, aged 25, daughter of James Haines and Hannah Flower, in residence of Mrs. Haines in Kapunda, South Australia. By W. O. Ashton. The witnesses were Emma's twin sister Harriett (now Harriett Rowe) and her youngest brother, Mark Flower Haines.⁶

In 1881 he was a Miner in Kapunda, South Australia.⁷

He died on Wednesday, 27 June 1917, aged 64 years, 4 months and 19 days, in Boulder, Western Australia.⁸

To my knowledge, Hannah wasand were never married.¹

     Ifor Haines Rosser was born on 3 July 1883 in Kapunda, South Australia, son of Thomas William Rosser and Emma Haines.

He died on Monday, 23 September 1901, aged 18 years, 2 months and 20 days, in Boulder, Western Australia.

Ifor was buried in the Kalgoorlie Cemetery, Kalgoorlie, Western Australia,¹ and a memorial to Ifor can be found Kapunda Cemetery, together with other family members.

     James Cyril Christopher Rosser was born on 25 September 1888 in Kapunda, South Australia, son of Thomas William Rosser and Emma Haines.

On 14 December 1918, James, aged 30, married Myra Elizabeth Abrahams, aged 24, daughter of Abraham Abrahams and Martha Jane Gates, in Methodist Church in Verdun, South Australia.¹

He died on Saturday, 5 September 1942, aged 53 years, 11 months and 11 days, in Adelaide, South Australia, Prior to his death he lived in Fullarton.²

Life Events

     Oscar Haines Rosser was born on 13 November 1892 in Kapunda, South Australia, son of Thomas William Rosser and Emma Haines.¹

Oscar began military service on 14 December 1914 in Oaklands Park, South Australia, when he enlisted in the Australian Army. His service number was 876, and he joined the 3rd light Horse Regiment. On 23rd December 1918 he was discharged as "medically unfit". He had received a gunshot wound to the left arm on 13th April, while fighting in Palestine.²

On 20 February 1915, Oscar, aged 22, married Florence Margery McConnal, aged 19, in St Augustine Church in Port Augusta, South Australia.¹

He died on Monday, 4 September 1961, aged 68 years, 9 months and 22 days, in New South Wales, Australia.

Oscar was buried on 6 September 1961 in the Rookwood Cemetery, Rookwood, New South Wales, Australia, in Zone F, Independent Lawn A section, Grave No. 28.
