She died on Sunday, 3 April 1966, in Mount Henry, Western Australia,2 and she was cremated at Karrakatta Cemetery, Karrakatta, Western Australia, and her ashes were scattered over the garden at the cemetery.2

Life Events

     Leslie Charles Perry was born on 6 January 1893 in Morphett Vale, South Australia, son of Charles Perry and Edith Eleanor Alberta Pocock.1

In 1915 he was a State School Teacher.

Leslie began military service on 20 January 1916 in Perth, Western Australia, when he enlisted in the Australian Imperial Forces. His service number was 678. Before leaving Australia, on 6th June 1916, he had been made a Corporal.
On 9th April 1917 he qualified as an "Instructor in Bomb Throwing" at Lyndhurst, Hampshire.
He proceeded overseas to France in May 1917. He seems to have spent a fair bit of his time in France in hospital, suffering from, at various times, diarrhea (more than once) and influenza (which actually killed more people than the war did, over the following few years). He was discharged on 8th January 1920.2

He died on Saturday, 27 September 1980, aged 87 years, 8 months and 21 days, in South Fremantle, Western Australia.3

Leslie was cremated at the Karrakatta Cemetery, Karrakatta, Western Australia.3

She died on Thursday, 24 May 1962, aged 86 years, 10 months and 10 days, in Woodville, South Australia, Prior to her death she was living at Finsbury Park.3
